Some connectors are available that affix directly to the cable, others are really transitions from an "F" ,RCA or other such common base connector. Crimp Style Connectors are pretty much interchangeable with their relation to Ferrule and Crimp Ring size and Appropriate Corresponding "Crimping" Tool. Connectors that require a "Press" fit Longitudinally, are most often Proprietary in their Relationship to their Corresponding "Crimping" Tool. Most Manufacturers will reference a Particular Model number to this Regard. Please do not assume that just because it Looks "Just Like the Other One", that it is... Please Verify!
