The ROHN 5545G 20' foot 55G to 45G Transition Adapter Tower Section provides a means to join the 45G 16-3/4" Equilateral Face, 14 Gauge, 1-1/4" inch Rail Main Tower Section onto and on top of a 55G 17" Equilateral Face, 11 Gauge, 1-1/2" inch Rail Main Tower Section. This would be used in cases of Custom Engineering in increasing the Load Capacity of a 45G using a 55G Base in Self-Supporting and Guyed Installations

This ROHN 55G 10' foot Tower Section is the main component of every 55G Series Guyed, Self-Supporting and Bracketed Tower Kit configuration. This section based on a 17" inch equilateral triangular design, constructed of extra heavy duty 1-1/2 inch steel 11 gauge wall side rails with seven bays of continuous solid steel rod bracing and swaged, double-bolted connection joints which are proven to be the best method of joining tower sections for sturdiness and dependability.
Each 10 foot Tower Section is Hot Dip Galvanized and shipped containing all required nuts and bolts inside one leg and weighs about 110 lbs. The 55G tower can be used in guyed, self-supporting or bracketed configurations according to specifications delineated in every ROHN Tower Catalog Kit.

This section based on a 17" inch equilateral triangular design, constructed of extra heavy duty 1-1/2 inch steel 11 gauge wall side rails with seven bays of continuous solid steel rod bracing and an additional six bays overlaid to effect a double braced section for extra strength and capacity joined by the same swaged, double-bolted connection joints which are proven to be the best method of joining tower sections for sturdiness and dependability.
Each 10 foot Tower Section is Hot Dip Galvanized and shipped containing all required nuts and bolts inside one leg and weighs about 160 lbs. The 55G tower can be used in guyed, self-supporting or bracketed configurations according to specifications delineated in every ROHN Tower Catalog Kit.

The ROHN SB55G is a 5 foot Short Base Section for Embedment in a poured Concrete Pad prior to erection of a 55G Bracketed or Self-Supporting Tower. This Short Base Section is set into a hole, with concrete poured around it and resting on top of gravel layer underneath to provide a Drained, Bolted and Fixed Connection to a 45G Main Tower or Top Cap Section which provide addition twist control.
