ROHN SBH25G Hinged Base Tower Section
for Embedment in Concrete and is a hinged three foot section. This short base section is set into a hole, with concrete poured around it to provide a Hinged Connection to to the Tower Bottom using double bolted joints which are proven to be the best method of joining tower sections for sturdiness and dependability. Featuring a 12-1/2" equilateral triangular design, the SBH25G is constructed of extra heavy duty 1-1/4" steel tubing side rails with continuous solid steel rod bracing. The 25G tower can be used guyed, self-supporting or bracketed configurations according to specifications in the ROHN catalog. As a guyed structure, it can rise to a maximum of 190 feet. Self-supporting and bracketed heights depend on loading and are also specified in the ROHN catalog.

This Tower series is the Workhorse of America's Small and Local Communications needs; from Business-Band Radio and HAM Operators, to Off-Air Antenna TV and DTV Reception in Fringe areas outside the Surburban Broadcast Area.
Most Restrictions Allow for 45 feet of Tower Height without Guy Wires (NOT RECOMMENDED). Please remember, however, that No Tower is self supporting during construction! Always use temporary guys on the top most section, and install permanent guy wires as soon as a guy location point (height) is reached.
