3 Star Inc 3S-FRM-238-30 Non-Penetrating Flat Roof Antenna Mount with 2.375 in. OD x 30 in. Mast
Made in the USA!Made in the USA!
A 2.375 inch OD Mast Pipe Diameter is ideal for HughesNet, DirecWAY, StarBand Satellite Dish and Microwave Antenna Mounting. This 30 inch height mast is Heavy Duty, Commercial Grade for Commercial Installation. Such Heavier installs of Larger Dish style antennas on Commercial Properties would do well to install a tether such as the SCK150 (also available from 3 Star Inc).
Non-Penetrating Roof Mounts can be utilized within various weight restrictions depending on the Structural Composition of your flat roof, and when set up on a Rubber Mat or Pad, will protect surfaces such as Shingle and Tar, Pea gravel, Membrane and bare concrete without puncturing or marring and help distribute the weight evenly.
Ideal for Light Off-Air TV and Wireless Internet Antenna mounting, is constructed of pre-galvanized 12 Gauge steel, uses 8 standard concrete blocks as Ballast on a 35.5" x 35.5" Base Frame. Mast Pipe is Hot Dip Galvanized HDG.

The HDG 2.375, 2.38, 2-3/8 inch Diameter Pipe size mounts HughesNet, DirecWAY and STARBAND Satellite Internet Dish Antenna, PR-TV and some SCALA UHF Antenna, Andrew, Gabriel and Blonder Tongue Microwave Parabolic Reflector Antennas. And with a little Field Drilling, Screws and Pitch Pads are available as an option for Bolt-down versus Ballast applications. The Length of the mast is 30 inches based on engineering that incorporates consideration for typical Dish Antenna Wind-load versus the Ballast that would keep either on target with minimal deviation and flex. As with all Ballast mounts, Structural Engineering consultations are recommended for all Roof Applications.

*Redesign Improvement from Legacy "RT" to New "RTL" Towers*

The "RT" Series Tower Sections had cross bracing segments that spanned from one Tower Section to the next.
The "RTL" Series Towers Sections feature cross bracing that starts, stops and is totally contained within the same Tower section; making it easier to assemble a complete tower section on the ground for lifting and easier attachment/fitting to the next Tower Section during erection.

Things to keep in mind when ordering a Rohn RT Tower Kit:

Items That ARE Included

  1. Step bolts on ONE TOWER LEG are provided for the full height of the tower.

  2. Accessories like grounding kits, lightning rods, mounts, WIG ladders or brackets, etc. are not included
  3. The Safety Climb System is ordered separately.
  4. Contact us if you require any assistance in determining the adequacy of a specific RTL tower kit for site-specific applications.
Design Notes
  1. The ROHN Standard Light, Medium and Heavy Series RTL towers are based on the wind, ice and earthquake requirements of the ANSI/TIA/222-H Standard.
  2. The suitability of a ROHN standard RTL tower kit and standard foundation for a specific application must be verified by the purchaser based on site-specific data in accordance with the ANSI/TIA-222-H Standard. All users are solely responsible for the installation, use, maintenance, inspection and other work and the compliance with all local, state and federal requirements.
  3. The allowable Effective Projected Areas (EPA) tabulated represent the summation of the projected areas of all antennas, mounts, and accessories multiplied by appropriate drag factors and are assumed to be symmetrically mounted on the tower. Eccentric loading may increase member forces and may require a reduction of the tabulated EPA values.
  4. The tabulated EPA values apply to towers installed at ground level. Lower EPA values than tabulated may apply for roof mounted towers or for towers located on sites with unusual terrain.
  5. The EPA values are determined for ANSI/TIA-222 Topographic 1 tower site conditions (no abrupt changes in general topography) surrounded by Exposure C terrain (open unobstructed areas). For the Light Series towers, higher EPA values are provided for tower sites surrounded by Exposure B terrain (urban, suburban or wooded areas). Lower EPA values would apply for tower sites exposed to Exposure D terrain (open water or smooth unobstructed areas).
