Three different types of power technology are used to power these LED LIOL lights.
- Solar - The power is supplied by a battery. This battery is charged during the day using embeded solar panels. At night and when there is insufficiant solar avaliable, the units will switch over to battery power. This all happens automatically.
- Universal AC - Power must be provided using a power cable that can supply AC current (110–240VAC 50/60Hz). Can also be powered with optional solar and/or battery.
- Universal DC - Power must be provided using a power cable that can supply DC current (12–48VDC). Can also be powered with optional solar and/or battery.
All the LIOL lighting we carry use the latest advancements in LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology as a light source. The major advantage of LED’s over traditional light sources is well established in that they typically have an operational life in excess of 100,000 hours, resulting in substantial savings to maintenance and servicing costs.
