PLP BG2116 Big-Grip Preformed Dead-end for 9/16" inch EHS Galvanized Strand
The BG2116 Big-Grips are pre-formed and designed specifically for terminating 9/16" inch EHS Strand used in Guying ROHN 80/90 Series, Specialty Engineered and other Steel Towers, Antenna Structures, OSP Pole Line Communications Systems, and many types of guyed structures that require use of EHS strand. It's Strong and has a 35,000 lbs. breaking strength. Use with 5/8" Heavy Open Eye Thimbles and GC65267 9/16" inch End Sleeves. For Tower Down Guy Installations, BG2116 pairs with 7/8" inch Turnbuckles, and the GAC56 and GAC57 Series Anchors.
BG2116 Big Grips are used with 9/16" inch EHS Strand for Tower Down Guys during Tower Erection, Permanent Installations, Temporary Installations and Takedown Disassembly.
Dead-end Preforms are also used with Large Single and Triple Eye Utility Pole Line and Transmission Line Down Guy Anchors.(Sold Separately)
