PLP BG1112 Big-Grip Preformed Dead-end for 3/4" inch EHS Galvanized Strand
The BG1112 Big-Grips are pre-formed and designed specifically for terminating 3/4" inch EHS Strand used in Guying ROHN 80/90 Series, Specialty Engineered and other Steel Towers, Antenna Structures, OSP Pole Line Communications Systems, and many types of guyed structures that require use of EHS strand. It's Strong and has a 58,300 lbs.(19W) breaking strength. Use with 7/8" Heavy Open Eye Thimbles and GC65269 3/4" inch End Sleeves. For Tower Down Guy Installations, BG2112 pairs with 1.25" inch Turnbuckles, and the GAC58 and GAC59 Series Anchors.
BG1112 Big Grips are used with 3/4" inch EHS Strand for Tower Down Guys during Tower Erection, Permanent Installations, Temporary Installations and Takedown Disassembly.
Dead-end Preforms are also used with Large Single and Triple Eye Utility Pole Line and Transmission Line Down Guy Anchors.(Sold Separately)
