This is a REV. F Down Guy Grounding Kit. This differs from REV. G as REV. F bonds to the Guy Wires themselves directly, as opposed to the REV. G kit that grounds via the anchor rod.
This Down Guy Anchor Rod Grounding Kit is included in each ROHN Tower Complete REV.F Guyed Tower Kit. This Kit needs Guy Wire Clamps chosen by the guy wire size used on your Tower, select Clamps by Guy Wire size below.
Ground your Coaxial Cable System
Commensurate with Coaxial Cable TV Antenna and Satellite TV Splitter Installation, you want to Ground your Cable TV or HDTV Antenna Coaxial Cable System Outside before bringing the TV Cable Inside. The Integral Grounding Block designed onto most Outdoor Use Compatible Satellite Signal Splitter we sell will effectively convey this unwanted Electrical Energy to a Ground Rod via a Copper Ground Wire that you Install (not included). Consult your Local Building Code and NEC for guidance to Properly Grounding your HD TV Antenna, Satellite TV, Cable TV, WI-FI, Wireless Internet, Business Band, CB or Amateur Radio Antenna Installation.
Grounding & Bonding Are Important
Ground Blocks and Proper Grounding are an Important, often overlooked, aspect of Your Over-all Cable TV, HDTV or Satellite Antenna Installation and Safety. Proper Grounding can also Reduce the Reception of Interfering RF Signals. Grounding of Masts, Antennas, Cable TV and other RF Distribution Systems are covered by the NEC. Grounding can be as simple as a 12 AWG Ground Wire connected a short distance away to a 8 foot 5/8" DIA Copper Ground Rod (not supplied) or Bonded to the Existing Power Ground by the Power Meter installed on the side of your Home or Office. You may notice that most new Cable TV, Satellite and TV Antenna Installations are effected in this Manner.
