The BG2115 Big-Grips are pre-formed and designed specifically for terminating 1/2" inch EHS Strand used in Guying ROHN 25G 45G 55G 65G, 80/90 Series and other Steel Towers, Antenna Structures, OSP Pole Line Communications Systems, and many types of guyed structures that require use of EHS strand. It's Economical and has a 26,900 lbs. breaking strength. Use with 5/8" inch Heavy Open Eye Thimbles and GC65266 1/2" inch End Sleeves. For Tower Down Guy Installations, BG2115 pairs with 7/8" inch Turnbuckles, and the GAC56 and GAC57 Series Anchors.
BG2115 Big-Grips are used with 1/2" inch EHS Strand for Tower Down Guys during Tower Erection, Permanent Installations, Temporary Installations and Takedown Disassembly.
Dead-end Preforms are also used with Large Single and Triple Eye Utility Pole Line and Transmission Line Down Guy Anchors.(Sold Separately)
