3S-WM24W Telescopic TV Antenna Mast 24" Wall Mount Bracket

is designed to Wall Mount Support ROHN H50, H40, H30, H20 and Channel Master 1620, 1630, 1640, 1650, 1820, 1830, 1840, 1850 Telescopic Masts. Adjustable for Clamping ANY HDTV Antenna Masts from 1.25 to 3 inches in Diameter. Guy Wire Support for Mast Sections above this mount will still be required. This Bracket will Stand off any Antenna Mast within this Diameter range, but is NOT designed to support the weight and load of any Telescopic Antenna Mast off of the Ground. The Pre-Drilled Set Screw Hole Allows Installer to Install a Customer Provided Set Screw and Mast that Together, Siezes the Mast from Twisting due to Antenna Load, assuring the Antenna remains on Target. Bonding should be made by affixment to Mast. Consult NEC and Applicable Local Code for further guidance. (Mast not included).

Note

This "Y" Antenna Mast Wall Mount Bracket with 3rd Leg Support is Designed for Wall Mount Support of Antenna Masts of all Diameters from 1.25 inch to 3 inches with 24 inches of clearance from the Wall with the added reinforcement of a 3rd leg that goes to transfer the weight load leverage to the wall, but not the weight of a Telescopic Antenna Mast or ANY Mast greater than 10 Feet in Height (Depending on Antenna size!) off of the Ground and on the Wall alone. Use a Ground Plate like EZ32A or GTMBL to mount the Bottom of a Telescopic Antenna Mast from the ground up, with the Wall Bracket maintaining vertical alignment and clearance from the Wall to pass Roof edge. These Mounts do not replace or otherwize reduce the need for proper guying of the Telescopic Antenna Masts. As with all Masts, Guy wire support and Grounding are Critical to Antenna Survival.

Worked pretty well

Initially, i was going to return these, as I mistakenly bought the wrong size. But I was going to be forced to pay shipping and that was exceeding the cost of the bracket themselves.

However, I have since found that they could be opened up and made to fit properly,and now it works out nicely.

Wall & Eave Mount Brackets for Satellite TV Antenna Mast, Cellular Wireless Internet, Business Band and Telescopic Antenna MastsIt is Important to choose an Antenna Mount and Wall Mounting Location with a Picture of the Finished Antenna Installation in Mind. Be Sure to First select a location that lends itself to applying a Vertical, Cantilevered, Twisting Load without Compromising the Integrity of the Wall Material you affix to. Most Modern Exterior Decorative Wall Finishes most often do not have the Strength to Hold the Weight and Pressure of a Large TV Antenna under Wind Load without fail. Beams and Studs within the Wall are an Absolute Must to Locate when the Wall Composition is anything other than Solid wood or Concrete. Attach to these Strength Members. Further, Think about what's underneath the Wall exterior. Is it stronger, will it yield to Pressure over time as well? Sandwich additional Material (wood or steel) to the backside or both sides of the wall at the points where the mount attaches, as to distribute the load on relatively weak wall materials and to dampen vibration from Wind. Weather Proof the Installation to Maintain the Integrity of your Home. Next consider the Location over a Lifetime of Adjustments, does it lend itself to modifications in Height or Direction? Larger Antennas increase the surface area presented to air movement, Hence, Wind-load does increase. As the length of the mast increases from Its last attached point on the structure, the torque applied also increases with Weight and Wind-Load, requiring a more substantive attachment and Load-Bearing material. Keep the Distance Minimal from the Antenna to the TV's and Equipment you feed, as to minimize loss and the need for Amplification. Further, the NEC (National Electrical Code partly defines a good Ground connection as being as short as possible, you must affix a connection to a good Earth Ground prior to Premise entry or Bond to an existing one.
