The BG1113 Big-Grips are pre-formed and designed specifically for terminating 7/8" inch EHS Strand used in Guying ROHN 80/90 Series, Specialty Engineered and other Steel Towers, Antenna Structures, OSP Pole Line Communications Systems, and many types of guyed structures that require use of EHS strand. It's Strong and has a 79,700 lbs.(19W) breaking strength. Use with 1-1/8" to 1-1/4" Heavy Open Eye Thimbles and GC65270 7/8" inch End Sleeves. For Tower Down Guy Installations, BG1113 pairs with 1.50" inch Turnbuckles. Contact ROHN and a Structural Engineer for Anchor Specification.
BG1113 Big Grips are used with 7/8" inch EHS Strand for Tower Down Guys during Tower Erection, Permanent Installations, Temporary Installations and Takedown Disassembly.
Dead-end Preforms are also used with Very Large Single and Triple Eye Utility Pole Line and Transmission Line Down Guy Anchors.(Sold Separately)
