ROHN H20 20' foot Telescoping Mast Outdoor Antenna Pole
Made in the USA!Made in the USA!
The ROHN H20, 2 section Telescopic Mast is used for Off-Air TV Antenna, Amateur (Ham) Radio, Wireless Internet Antenna, MMDS and Cell Phone Signal Booster Installations (not included). All Telescoping push-up Masts are galvanized and come with hardware designed to support light duty antennas in various applications. The unique ROHN design features interior tube flanging combined with a double crimped exterior tube to produce a stronger and more stable joint than most common mast. Each section extends deeper into the lower tubes than most designs, adding to the masts stability. Height describes the overall pipe length. Due to overlapping, extended masts will be shorter. This Mast extends to about 19 Feet in actual height and ships to Commercial and Residential addresses alike.
Manufacturers recommend that masts heights of 10 feet and higher above the uppermost bracket be guyed for Addition Wind Load Support. Bonding/Grounding should be made by affixment to Mast. Consult NEC and Applicable Local Code for further guidance
(Antenna, Down Guys and Mounts not included).

19 ft extended Height

Mast Section Dimensions are:
(1) 10'0"  length x 1.25" O.D. (16 AWG)

Ground your Coaxial Cable System

Commensurate with Coaxial Cable TV Antenna and Satellite TV Splitter Installation, you want to Ground your Cable TV or HDTV Antenna Coaxial Cable System Outside before bringing the TV Cable Inside. This way, Lightning Strikes and Power Surges have an opportunity to arrest before reaching your Satellite Receiver and TV Set(s). The Integral Grounding Block designed onto most Outdoor Use Compatible Satellite Signal Splitter we sell will effectively convey this unwanted Electrical Energy to a Ground Rod via a Copper Ground Wire that you Install (not included). Consult your Local Building Code and NEC for guidance to Properly Grounding your HD TV Antenna, Satellite TV, Cable TV, WI-FI, Wireless Internet, Business Band, CB or Amateur Radio Antenna Installation.

Grounding & Bonding Are Important

Ground Blocks and Proper Grounding are an Important, often overlooked, aspect of Your Over-all Cable TV, HDTV or Satellite Antenna Installation and Safety. Proper Grounding can also Reduce the Reception of Interfering RF Signals. Grounding of Masts, Antennas, Cable TV and other RF Distribution Systems are covered by the NEC. Grounding can be as simple as a 12 AWG Ground Wire connected a short distance away to a 8 foot 5/8" DIA Copper Ground Rod (not supplied) or Bonded to the Existing Power Ground by the Power Meter installed on the side of your Home or Office. You may notice that most new Cable TV, Satellite and TV Antenna Installations are effected in this Manner. However, most State and some Local codes will contain requirements that supersede that of the NEC. Please Refer to Your Local Building and Electrical Codes.
