Ground Blocks and Proper Grounding are an Important, often overlooked, aspect of Your telescopic Antenna Mast Installation and Safety. Proper Grounding can also Reduce the Reception of Interfering RF Signals. Grounding of Masts, Antennas, Cable TV and other RF Distribution Systems are covered by the NEC. Grounding can be as simple as a 12 AWG Ground Wire connected a short distance away to a 8 foot 5/8" DIA Copper Ground Rod (not supplied) or Bonded to the Existing Power Ground by the Power Meter installed on the side of your Home or Office. However, most State and some Local codes will contain requirements that supersede that of the NEC. Please Refer to Your Local Building and Electrical Codes for Guidance.
