This 9 inch copper strap is used for a 1/2 to 2-1/4 inch diameter pipe or round member connection to a #10/12/14 AWG copper ground wire with a brass screw connection.
This is what you want to use to Ground your Satellite, Cable TV or HDTV Antenna Coaxial Cable Outside before bringing the Signal Inside. This way, Lightning Strikes and Power Surges have an opportunity to arrest before reaching your TV and Entertainment Electronics. The grounding Block will convey this unwanted Electrical Energy to a Ground Rod via a Copper Ground Wire that you Install (not included). Inline Parallel Mast Pole to Pole or Pipe Mounts accommodating 2-3/8" OD through 4-1/2" OD Mast Tube Pipe come HDG (Hot Dipped Galvanized) or with a Pre-Galvanized Plated Finish.
All are used to Fixate and Hold (2) poles to cross perpendicularly, one to the other, preferably from an integral Structure Member to another, or even Freestanding. An Example would be attaching a Vertical Mast Pole Tube to an existing Horizontal Welded Guard Rail at two levels (Top and Mid rail) utilizing (2) Crossovers as to maintain a Cantilever against Weight and Wind Loading on the Mast being installed.
