This is commonly used in Termination of Unused ports in CATV Actives and Passives to match the 75 Ohm loading and thus prevent leakage of RF Signal, Reflections and Interference. This Device will also Block any accompanying 60 cycle AC Voltage present, commonly used to power inline Active Equipment
