3StarInc 3S-10 Solar Powered Obstruction Light for Communication Towers
The 3Starinc 3S-10 solar obstruction light is a type of light that is used to warn aircraft and other vehicles of obstructions in their path, such as tall buildings, towers, or other structures. These lights are typically installed on top of the obstruction and are designed to be highly visible, even in low light conditions. One of the key advantages of using solar obstruction lights is that they are powered by solar energy, which makes them environmentally friendly and cost-effective. This means that they do not require a constant power source and can be easily installed in remote or off-grid locations.

The solar panel comes with 3S-10 provides power supply to the light, which makes 3S-10 a self-contained and care-free light unit. Also, with the solar function, the light is easy to deploy to almost any condition and any emergency case. Robust body built and surface coating provides good protection against hash environments. 3S-10 solar obstruction light can be customized to with alarm output or "MAIN"/"SLAVE" switch to achieve many 3S-10 synchronization. The 3S-10 obstruction lamp is also available with an optional ON/OFF switch for storing and protect battery from over-discharging.

It is designed for High-rise building marking, Road obstruction marking, Port/Dock Navigation, Walkway Crossovers, Masts, Towers and other potentially hazardous obstructions to air traffic. Compared to the 3S-10P, the 3S-10 utilizes a more economical plastic base, reduced material and transportation costs.

POWER

Three different types of power technology are used to power these LED LIOL lights.

  • Solar- The power is supplied by a battery. This battery is charged during the day using embedded solar panels. At night and when there is insufficient solar available, the units will switch over to battery power. This all happens automatically.
  • Universal AC Line Power- Power must be provided using a power cable that can supply AC current (110–240VAC 50/60Hz). Can also be powered with optional solar and/or battery.
  • Universal DC Line Power- Power must be provided using a power cable that can supply DC current (12–48VDC). Can also be powered with optional solar and/or battery.

LED TECHNOLOGY

All the LIOL lighting we carry, uses the latest advancements in LED (Light Emitting Diode) technology as a light source. The major advantage of LED’s over traditional light sources is well established in that they typically have an operational life in excess of 100,000 hours, resulting in substantial savings to maintenance and servicing costs.
