PLP BG2146 Big-Grip Preformed Dead-end for 5/16" inch EHS Galvanized Strand
The BG2146 Big-Grips are pre-formed and designed specifically for terminating 5/16" inch EHS Strand used in guying ROHN 25G 45G 55G 65G Series and other Steel Towers, Antenna Structures, OSP Pole Line Communications Systems, and many types of guyed structures that require use of EHS strand. It's Economical and has a 11,200 lbs. breaking strength. Use with 7/16" to 1/2" inch Heavy Open Eye Thimbles and GC65128 5/16" inch End Sleeves. For Tower Down Guy Installations, BG2146 pairs with 5/8" inch Turnbuckles, and the GAR, GAC, GAC34 and GAC56 Series Anchors.

BG2146 Big-Grips are used with 5/16" inch EHS Strand for Tower Down Guys during Tower Erection, Permanent Installations, Temporary Installations and Takedown Disassembly.
Dead-end Preforms are also used with Single and Triple Eye Utility Pole Line Down Guy Anchors, on Auxiliary Eye Anchor Rod attachments and smaller Single Eye Down Guy Anchors when supplemented with a Collar insert or Thimble as needed.(Sold Separately)
