VMP TR-60 60 Inch Roof Mount Tripod for Antenna Mast
The VMP TR-60 Antenna Mast Roof Mount 60 Inch Tripod for TV Wireless Internet Starlink holds mast up to 2.00 inch O.D., includes a pitch pad kit, a universal mast clamp and has installer friendly front facing feet with outer legs lining up at 48 inches (3 x 16) and the center leg at 24 inches from either outer leg. (Mast Not Included)

This Penetrating Mount Series from VMP is finished with a dark brown weather resistant powder coat inside and out that blends well with residential environments. This Mount as a Base can accommodate Masts up to 2 inches in Diameter. Typical rafter spacings are 16 inches center to center and pre-built trusses are 24 inches center to center. Large Mast and Antenna Loads should be additionally supported by Guy wires to reduce Wind Load leverage against the Base. And as with all items in this Product Line, Screws and Pitch Pads are included.

TYRAP CABLE TIES

A cable tie is a band or length of strap manufactured from a class of polymeric materials known as polyamides (Nylon 6/6). The width, length and head area of the zip ties employ ratcheting mechanisms to bundle and then lock items together.

Commercially introduced in 1938, nylon was the first synthetic semi-crystalline polymer whose physical properties compared favorably to some metals. Nylon possesses an outstanding balance of properties, combining strength, moderate stiffness, high service temperature and a high level of toughness. Particularly resistant to repeated impact, nylon has a low coefficient of friction and excellent abrasion resistance. It is resistant to fuels, lubricants, and most chemicals, but is attacked by phenols, strong acids and oxidizing agents (ref. Our Physical and Chemical Certification for further information). Nylon is inherently susceptible to environmental conditions; however, ACT nylon cable ties are moisturized to attain optimum performance levels. Nylon products should be stored in a cool, dry area, out of direct sunlight, and sealed in the original packaging material to extend performance levels indefinitely.

 

3 Types of Nylon for Specific Applications

 

General-Purpose Nylon 6/6 is suitable for most applications at a continuous temperature up to 150º F. Nylon 6/6, the grade most often used for nylon cable ties, meets UL 94V-2 flammability ratings. Its working temperature range is 40º F. to 185º F.

Heat Stabilized Nylon 6/6 is used for applications with continuous or extended exposure to high temperatures, up to 250º F., and thereby meeting UL standards for electrical applications. ACT nylon cable ties contain specially formulated heat stabilizers to provide additional thermal endurance.

UV Stabilized Nylon 6/6 is used in applications of continuous or extended exposure to outdoor elements. The weather-resistant grade, able to endure additional ultraviolet (UV) light, is produced by incorporating stabilizers in the nylon resin. ACT's UV Stabilized Nylon cable ties are available only in black.
