This 5 Foot (60") by 1.25" OD 16 AWG Medium to Heavy Duty Swaged-end Outdoor Antenna Mast tube is Hot Dip Galvanized (HDG) for Extreme Weather Resistance and adds a layer of zinc in the process which may make fitment difficult with other pre-galvanized (Non-HDG) Swaged-end Masts. If you are Looking to increase height by multiples of 5 foot using HDG 16 AWG masts, we recommend that you use the ROHN 5-16S Swaged-end HDG Masts solely, which are notched on the receiving end in addition to being swaged on the other for stacked fitment with another swaged section.
Be Sure and afford yourself 2 feet minimum, up to 1/3 of the overall mast length between the two wall mounts you would utilize in your TV antenna Installation. The Torque applied from wind load through cantilever to these mounts can be significant.
Manufacturers recommend that mast heights of 10 feet and higher be guyed.

There's a Big difference between 18 AWG and 16 AWG when it comes to joining Swaged to Straight Antenna Masts. You cannot mix and match 16 and 18 gauge masts so please, verify the mast you have before purchasing a complimenting swaged section.
