ROHN WM18D 18" inch Stand-Off Antenna Mast Wall Mount Double "Y" Bracket Set
Made in the USA!Made in the USA!
The ROHN WM18D is a Hot Dip Galvanized 14 Gauge Steel Heavy Duty Bracket Set of (2) Double "Y" Style Brackets with Anti-Twist Feature, One with a Vertical Brace Strut on the Bottom Bracket, with Hardware Included for an 18 inch Standoff Wall Support of Light to Medium Duty Antennas on Mast Poles from 5 to 10 feet long and from 1.25 to 2.75 inches in Outside Diameter for Off-air and OTA TV, UHF/VHF Radio, Remote Telemetry Control and Monitoring Stations, Cellular Date Gateways, WiFi, Wireless Internet, Receivers, Boosters and Repeaters.(Mast Not Included)

These mast mountings are typical and generally require the cantilever distance between the mounts be one quarter (1/4) to one third (1/3) of the mast length depending on Wind Load, starting from the bottom with 2 foot between brackets being a minimum distance. All Masts greater than ten feet in length, and/or 2 inches or greater in O.D. should be based upon and from the ground in rising up to the desired height.

Also for Telescopic Mast Poles comprised of 1.25", 1.50", 1.75", 2.00" and 2.25" Tubes nested together and then extended, these wall mounts can supplement structural support but are not designed to take the place of a Base in Supporting the weight of the Mast off the ground or guying. Be sure and check that the Tube segments you wish to wall mount will fit within the Outside Diameter Window specified that the Brackets will accommodate. Set screw installation may require some field drilling.
Manufacturers recommend that ALL masts above 10 feet from their uppermost support be Guyed
With more height in your installation, Grounding/Bonding is a recommended consideration.

Satellite diplexers are used outside to combine and then separate two separate RF Bands: The 950 to 2150 MHz from the Satellite LNB(F) and the Cable TV or Antenna TV channels. The First would combine these two bands for conveyance via a single RG-6 coaxial cable on one side, and then a second satellite diplexer is used on the other to separate the combined signals for connection to separate these Bands for Input to receivers and the like. Some Satellite Receivers will have Diplexer/Separators built in (Confer with your Installation Guide or Spec. Sheet). Satellite diplexers eliminate the need for extra wiring thereby reducing the cost of labor and installation materials necessary to run two separate coaxial cable drops to carry each signal source independently.

If you have Off-Air Antenna TV Signals mixed with the Satellite Signals, you will need "Wideband" Splitters that have a minimum start frequency of 50 MHz and again, pass up to 2050 or 2150 MHz. (depending on Service). Those Splitters that have a Start Frequency of below 40 MHz are used for carriage of both Satellite and Cable TV with Return Band two way services like H-Speed Internet Broadband Modems and Set Top Pay-per View TV Converters.

Conversely, regular Cable TV Antenna Signal Splitters have a start Frequency of 5, 40 or 50 MHz. and a Stop Frequency of 900 or 1000 MHz (1 GHz). You could utilize any of those Splitters for distribution use of the Output Signals of the Satellite Receivers to other TV Sets.

When Supplementing your Satellite TV Antenna Installation with additional Components, consider Grounding. Dual F Port Grounding Blocks specific for Grounding un-wanted Electrical Surges and Strikes away from the LNB(F), Satellite TV Receiver and TV Set(s) are available. See the "Drop Ground Blocks" Category. Consult your Local Building Code and NEC for guidance to Properly Grounding your HD TV Antenna, Satellite TV, Cable TV, WI-FI, Wireless Internet, Business Band, CB or Amateur Radio Antenna Installation.
