The SI-GB-50L Single Port Coaxial Cable Ground Block that features a Single, 1 Sealed Gasket Long F Connector Barrel Port in a Stainless Steel Ground Block that accommodates up to a #10 AWG Ground Wire (Available Separately) with ease primarily for Outdoor use, but can be used in Crawlspaces or at Roof level where necessary as long as the Ground wire is as short as possible to the Ground connection of either the Electrical Power Ground Rod, Electrical Meter Base Box, Common Communications Bonding location or your own Ground Rod. This is what you want to use to Ground your Cable TV or HDTV Antenna Coaxial Cable Outside before bringing the Signal Inside. This way, Lightning Strikes and Power Surges have an opportunity to arrest before reaching your TV and Entertainment Electronics. The grounding Block will convey this unwanted Electrical Energy to a Ground Rod via a Copper Ground Wire that you Install (not included). Consult your Local Building Code and NEC for guidance to Properly Grounding your HD TV Antenna, Cable TV, WI-FI, Wireless Internet, Business Band, CB or Amateur Radio Antenna Installation.
Filters that are typically Notch (Channel Removal), Band Pass (Pass Specific Range) or Pass Band (Pass all BUT a Specific Range). If Installing a Filter that will affect an entire Network, it is best to install at Amplifier Input versus Output. Notch Filters are part of but not completely effectual alone for Channel Elimination. Common Band Pass and Pass Band Filter examples are Diplexers and Separators. Very Few Filters handle Voltage Pass, be Careful to ascertain their Capability prior to Use.
