These 1/2" inch Screw Pin shackles can be specified for use with lifting Static Vertical Loads of Heavy Materials on the Jobsite, Agriculture, Towing or Home and Garden. They are Not Recommended for use in Dynamic Load or Permanent Fixture Scenarios as the vibration and shifting loads may loosen the Screw Bolt over time.

A screw pin shackle is a U-shaped rigging connector with a threaded pin that screws into one ear, providing a quick, temporary connection for lifting, towing, or securing loads, ideal for frequent assembly/disassembly but requiring the pin to be hand-tightened (or secured with a wrench) before each use due to vibration, often used in construction, marine, and agricultural tasks for its versatility and ease of use in non-permanent setups. For Tower Down Guy Wire attachment, The Tower Manufacturers Recommend that these be Used Solely for Temporary Erection and Take-down. Existing Tower Sites should be upgraded to and New Permanent Installations should be using the Bolt-Type with Cotter Pin Anchor Shackles.
