These 5/8" inch Round Pin shackles can be specified for use with the Some of the 25G, 45G, 45GSR, 55G, 65G and 80/90 Torque Arm Stabilizer Assemblies, Down Guy Anchor Head Equalizer Plates and Other Torque Bar Stabilizer Assembly Options incorporated into GA25GD, GA45GD and GA55GD Guy Bracket Assemblies (use one for each Torque Bar, three each for a complete level).

Round pin shackles are used for in-line applications like towing, tie-downs, and general suspension, where loads are steady and strictly aligned, offering quick attachment with a cotter pin, but should NOT be used for overhead lifting or side loading due to their unthreaded pin design, which can fail under twisting or off-angle forces. They're great for static setups in construction, transport, and marine tasks but lack rigidity for dynamic recovery situations. For Tower Down Guy Wire attachment, The Tower Manufacturers Recommend that these be Used Solely for Temporary Erection and Take-down. Existing Tower Sites should be upgraded to and New Permanent Installations should be using the Bolt-Type with Cotter Pin Anchor Shackles.
