Bolt-Type Shackle :
A bolt type shackle is a more secure version used in rigging that features the combination of a bolt and nut located alongside a cotter pin. With a bolt and nut securing the shackle pin , they remain closed even when subject to rotation. Shackles are used to lift , secure and rig heavy loads .
Round Pin Shackle :
Round pin shackles consists of a round unthreaded pin that easily slides through the ears of the shackle and is secured in place with a cotter pin , They work well in applications where the pin may be subjected to torque or twisting . They are mostly used in tie-down, towing , suspension or applications where the load is strictly in-line .
