3 Star
Tripod Mast is 1.66 inch O.D., with Compass, Level and Azimuth Markings built-in, perfect when permanent mounting DISH Network and DirecTV Satellite Dishes is not desirable. The pole and legs attach to base but can be easily removed for storage and portability. Works with small portable antenna or standard 18 to 20 inch diameter Satellite Antenna and mount. (Mounting Stake and Bungee Tie down included) Great for RV Vacationers and Campers! Now you don't need an expensive set up that ties down to the top of your vehicle. Set this Tripod Mount up anywhere you need to for clear view of the satellite arc!
TYRAP CABLE TIES
A cable tie is a band or length of strap manufactured from a class of polymeric materials known as polyamides (Nylon 6/6). The width, length and head area of the zip ties employ ratcheting mechanisms to bundle and then lock items together.
Commercially introduced in 1938, nylon was the first synthetic semi-crystalline polymer whose physical properties compared favorably to some metals. Nylon possesses an outstanding balance of properties, combining strength, moderate stiffness, high service temperature and a high level of toughness. Particularly resistant to repeated impact, nylon has a low coefficient of friction and excellent abrasion resistance. It is resistant to fuels, lubricants, and most chemicals, but is attacked by phenols, strong acids and oxidizing agents (ref. Our Physical and Chemical Certification for further information). Nylon is inherently susceptible to environmental conditions; however, ACT nylon cable ties are moisturized to attain optimum performance levels. Nylon products should be stored in a cool, dry area, out of direct sunlight, and sealed in the original packaging material to extend performance levels indefinitely.
3 Types of Nylon for Specific Applications
General-Purpose Nylon 6/6 is suitable for most applications at a continuous temperature up to 150º F. Nylon 6/6, the grade most often used for nylon cable ties, meets UL 94V-2 flammability ratings. Its working temperature range is 40º F. to 185º F.
Heat Stabilized Nylon 6/6 is used for applications with continuous or extended exposure to high temperatures, up to 250º F., and thereby meeting UL standards for electrical applications. ACT nylon cable ties contain specially formulated heat stabilizers to provide additional thermal endurance.
UV Stabilized Nylon 6/6 is used in applications of continuous or extended exposure to outdoor elements. The weather-resistant grade, able to endure additional ultraviolet (UV) light, is produced by incorporating stabilizers in the nylon resin. ACT's UV Stabilized Nylon cable ties are available only in black.
